We are bringing back hundreds of cavalry horses, mounted re-enactors, Infantry (foot soldiers), sutlers, refugees and family life reenactors, who are all represented in this exciting, interactive weekend.  Bring the whole family! Adults will enjoy living history talks, tours, entertainment and demonstrations. Children of all ages will interact with: civil war era characters, bugle training games, a taste of campfire living, viewing family-friendly battles and learn civil war era dancing and games.  You won’t want to miss our actual working Civil War Telegraphy, listen to musicians of the era, experience field hospital demonstrations and learn how women and children did laundry, cooked and cared for the soldiers. A grand parade of horse-drawn carriages arrives on both days, as well as a Sunday-morning lawnside church service and musical entertainers round out an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime weekend.
