The National Civil War & Antique Arms Show

The National Civil War & Antique Arms Show

America’s premier Civil War artifacts show will be held in the spacious Richmond International Raceway Complex on July 18-19 in Richmond, Virginia.  More than 500 tables of relics, from bullets to cannon and buttons to battle flags, including firearms, swords, uniforms, books, art, and museum quality displays highlight the show.  In previous years exhibits from such prestigious organizations as the Museum of the Confederacy, the Loyal Legion Museum, and the National Rifle Association have been on view.  Renowned auction houses such as James Julia and Heritage have made presentations.
Every year, the event brings in nationally acclaimed authors, artists, and celebrities to meet and greet for photos and autographs.  In addition, visitors are invited to bring in relics for evaluation by ISA and AAA accredited appraisers at no extra charge.
The show is sponsored by the award-winning North South Trader’s Civil War magazine, dedicated to the artifacts and history of America’s defining conflict.  It is fitting that a publication conceived for the presentation, exploration, and preservation of artifacts also promotes the nation’s top event showcasing relics of the war.  Steve Sylvia, NSTCW publisher, author, lecturer, film and television consultant, claims the show to be “the best in America.”
Now in its 42nd year, the show has grown in prestige to attract collectors, public and private museum curators, history lovers, and artifact dealers from across the nation.  “We have dealers and collectors from Maine to Texas, from Florida to Oregon,” said Sylvia, “no other Civil War show draws this crowd.”  In this grand celebration of America’s military history, the show has broadened to include World War I and II memorabilia as well.
This show is an exceptional event honoring the men and women who served America and presents the weapons they used, the uniforms they wore, and the equipment they carried.
The show’s staff is constantly seeking individuals and organizations who wish to participate in the event.  Information about reserving tables for sale and display can be found on the show website; www.nstcivilwar.com
Open to the public Sat. 9-5, Sunday 9-3.  Admission $10 per day.  Children under 12 free with adult.
