HDQRS. FIRST BRIGADE, RUGGLES' DIVISION,
Corinth, Miss., May 16, 1862.CAPTAIN: I have the honor to transmit herewith my official report of the action near Farmington on the 8th and 9th instant, with the reports of my subordinate commanders and an informal list of casualties. A list of the casualties in the new form will be transmitted as soon as the necessary reports of the regimental commanders can be made.
