Volunteers, having reported to these headquarters in compliance with Special Field Orders, Numbers 75, headquarters Military DIVISION of the Mississippi, dated Atlanta, Ga., September 18, 1864, is assigned to duty as chief of cavalry of the Departments and Army of the Tennessee, with headquarters at Memphis, Tenn. He will be obeyed and respected accordingly.
