the war that information of intended movements has been prematurely conveyed to the enemy. There have been various attempts to fix fire responsibility of such injurious intelligence. It is not just to blame the newspaper man for the use of news which given to him by officers of the Army. The fault should be corrected at the fountain. It is respectfully requested that, as in this case the exacts facts are ascertainable, due investigation be had and such example made as will put an end to so pernicious a practice.
