No change since last night. All remains quiet. The enemy still occupy Battery Lamb, but not in force. Colonel Simonton, with his command, has not reached this point. He was within about six miles at dark last night. The two cavalry companies ordered to me have not reached here or been heard of. I have not heard think morning form Major-General Hoke.
