Just arrived here. Have dispatches from General Grant and Sherman. General Crook is with command near Ford's Station, and wil not move until further orders from you. Telegraph me at General Ferrero's headquarters which way he is to move. If you wish to communicate with him telegraph to Wilson's Station.

It is all right about the cipher dispatches. The general has got copies of them, so that you neel have no anxiety on the subject. Crook has been telgraphed to move on to Petersburg. We will leave here for Petersburg at 11 a. m. in the morning.

Your dispatch received. We have copies of the cipher dispatches that Captain Sheridan has. General Crook will continue his march to Petersburg. Camps will be selected for the command by Colonel Forsyth before you arrive.
