Unless something occurs to-night to require my presence here, which I hardly can conceive possible, I shall move my headquarters to Port Tobacco. Captain Pettit, with Krebs and a detachment of cavalry, is in Saint Mary's County investigating all the circumstances attending the passage of Booth and Herold through that portion of Maryland.
