Lieutenant-General Grant directs that all officers and men of the Twenty-fifth Corps be assembled at City Point for ocean transportation, which will be there within two days. All persons belonging to the corps fit for transportation anywhere on special duty will be relieved and go with the corps. I presume General Grant will send your orders in regard to your destination, supplies to be taken, &c.
