At midnight Colonel Schley reported from Point of Rocks that Stuart, with his cavalry, has passed Leesburg in the direction of Nolan's Ferry. Doubtful; but still you will be on the alert with your Jersey men at Monocacy and on the railroad. This will be communicated here to General Briggs.

Have you any information of rebel cavalry movements in Londoun Country? General Roberts last night telegraphed me a report from Colonel Schley, Point of Rocks, that Stuart, with his cavalry, had passed Leesburg, in the direction of Nolan's Ferry.
