At midnight Colonel Schley reported from Point of Rocks that Stuart, with his cavalry, has passed Leesburg in the direction of Nolan's Ferry. Doubtful; but still you will be on the alert with your Jersey men at Monocacy and on the railroad. This will be communicated here to General Briggs.
