The regiments thus transferred were the Twenty-second Connecticut, Fortieth Massachusetts, One hundred and twenty-seventh, One hundred and forty-first, One hundred and forty-second, One hundred and forty-third, and One hundred and forty-fourth New York, and Eleventh Rhode Island.
