Shelbyville, August 12, 1863.Respectfully forwarded and referred and to Major-General Stanley. Lieutenant Roulston has had his house burned and property destroyed. His family and a good number of others are in a suffering and destitute condition. They have the means of relieving them,and I earnestly recommend that they be allowed to visit the vicinity for ten or twelve days.
