GENERAL: I am much in need of my signal corps, which Captain Merril has employed elsewhere. If he can relieve my signal officers from the main stations with officers from the main stations with officers from some other quarter, I can make them very useful. Please call the attention of the general commanding to this subject.

Your troops, battery, and brigade train will move at 7 o'clock to-morrow morning via Stevenson.
