Paragrahp XL, Special Orders, Numbers 48, Adjutant and Inspector General's Office, current series, is so amende as to read: Paragraph Il, General Orders, Numbers 6, Adjutant and Inspector General Office, February 14, 1865, is hereby revoked, and Brigadier General G. J. Pillow, Provisional Army, C. S., will report to General Josehp E. Johnston, commanding, &c., for assignment to the duty of collecting and forwarding to their proper commands all absentees from the armies of the Confederate States who may be fould west of the Savannah River.
