may take the new amnesty oath and are not excluded from the benefits of the amnesty proclamation of May 29, 1865. Let the company distinclty understand that the board of directors must be purged of disloyal men or men excluded from the provisions of the new amnesty proclamation.

I. Colonel J. Mehringer, Ninety-first Indiana Volunteers, is relieved from command of the Second Brigade, Second Division, Twenty-third Army Corps, and will assume command of the Third Brigade, Second Division, Twenty-third Army Corps.

II. Colonel O. L. Spaulding, Twenty-third Michigan Volunteer Infantry, will at once assume command of the Second Brigade, Second Division, Twenty-third Army Corps.
