Commanding 180th Ohio Infantry, en route, Clifton:

COLONEL: The major-general commanding directs that if you have not passed Mount Pleasant when this order reaches you, you will return with your command and trains to Nashville, where you will await further orders. If you have passed Mount Pleasant, you will come forward. The lieutenant and escort carrying this order will remain with and receive orders from you.
