If supplies or forage are needed for their commands, they must be left in sufficient quantities to enable these corps to move from here with three days' supply; none to be abandoned or wasted. Sixth Corps to follow, covering the trains crossing at Wolf Run Shoals. Second Corps covering the whole, via Wolf Run Shoals. Headquarters to-morrow night at Fairfax Station. All settlers' wagons to go, via Occoquan, to Alexandria. Those not obeying order, contents to be given to the troops, and wagons to be turned over to the quartermaster-in-chief. This order to be carried out unless otherwise directed. All general and staff officers required to

facilitate and aid in its execution.
