Barrancas, Fla., March 4, 1865.In pursuance of Special Orders, Numbers 1, dated headquarters U. S. Forces, Barrancas, March 4, 1865, the undersigned hereby assumes command of the Second Division, Thirteenth Army Corps. The following officers are announced on the staff of the brigadier-general commanding: Surg. Victor H. Coffman, Thirty-fourth Iowa Volunteers, surgeon in charge; Captain George Monroe, assistant adjutant-general; Captain Arden R. Smith, commissary of subsistence; Lieutenant Ezra T. Champlin, Third Minnesota Veteran Volunteers, aide-de-camp; Lieutenant Heman D. Pettibone, Third Minnesota Veteran Volunteers, aide-de-camp; Lieutenant John McAndrew, Thirty-fourth Iowa Volunteers, acting assistant quartermaster; Lieutenant John Macy, Sixty-ninth Indiana Volunteers, acting ordnance officer.

Barrancas, Fla., March 4, 1865.In pursuance of General Orders, Numbers 2, dated headquarters Second Division, Thirteenth Army Corps, Barrancas, Fla, March 4, 1865, the undersigned hereby assumes command of the Second Brigade, Second Division, Thirteenth Army Corps. The staff will be announced hereafter. In addition to the reports already required, consolidated morning reports of their commands will be forwarded by regimental commanders on Monday and Thursday of each week.
