GENERAL: By direction of the major-general commanding you will please detail 100 men, property officered, to report immediately to army headquarters with tools, for the purpose of repairing the road to the upper pontoon across Bayou Minette.

Your artillery will be withdrawn by you so that you will be able to comply with this order. You will please see that a full supply of rations, forage, and ammunition are on hand.
