Your telegram of yesterday is received. Carrying into effect the order for muster out I think will leave me ample force for Georgia and enable me to increase Hatch's division to 5,000 men. I shall have 10,000 men left out of Long's, Upton's, McCook's and Hatch's divisions. No order Numbers 94 has been received here,but Numbers 83 is in my possession. I am doing all in my power to carry out the former.

The railroad track is down to Chattahoochee River, and about laid to Vining's, four miles beyond. Everything drags for want of axes. We are doing all that can be done. Bridge getting on well. The ambulance trains are here, waiting orders.
