CAPTAIN: You will proceed at once to take charge of four guns-one 12-pounder Napoleon from redan right of Battery G, with will be turned over to you by Colonel M. Smith, commanding right of line of defenses; one 12-pounder Napoleon from redan right Battery H, which will be turned over to you by Colonel C. A. Fuller, commanding left wing of defenses; two 3-inch rifles, now at ordnance depot, which will be furnished you upon application to Major H. Myers, chief ordnance officer. You will report to Major Semple, commanding light artillery battalion at Camp Beaulah, for horses, harness, &c.
