Lieutenant Samuel F. Woods, Thirty-fourth Massachusetts Infantry, aide-de-camp and acting assistant adjutant-general on the staff of Brigadier General Max Weber, is hereby relieved from duty as such, at his own request, and will rejoin his regiment. The general commanding desires to express his regret at losing the services of so valuable an officer, and thanks him for the ability and zeal shown by him since his connection with the staff.
