COLONEL: Your letters of 29th and 30th instant received. The Twenty-fifth Tennessee Regiment and Colonel Hagan's regiment of cavalry have been ordered to Sparta, as directed in the two letters. Colonel Wade's cavalry regiment has not yet reported to me. When it arrives it will be ordered as directed. Colonel [L. W.] O'Bannon, who you say has been directed to take charge of the supply train, has left here, and I presume is at General Bragg's headquarters by this time. I would be glad to know if he will return to take charge of it.
