III. The following promotions and assignments are announced to the Army:
1st. Major-General P. R. Cleburne will report to Lieutenant-General Hardee from assignment.
2nd. Brigadier General R. W. Hanson will report to Lieutenant-General Hardee for assignment.
3rd. Brigadier General L. E. Polk will report to Lieutenant-General Hardee for assignment.
4th. Brigadier General E. C. Walthall is relieved from duty with Hardee's corps, and will report to Lieutenant-General Polk for assignment.
5th. Brigadier General Z. C. Deas will report to Lieutenant-General Polk for assignment.
