A dispatch from Major Hammond, commanding detachment at Grove Church, reports all quiet. A skirmish occurred yesterday near Hartwood Church between a patrol and a party bushwhackers, in which 4 men were wounded.

Citizens inform my officers in command of outposts at Grove Church that all rebel troops on that side of the river have been ordered back. They give as a reason anticipated movements.
