Forty-two Parrott shells fired at the fort during the night, of which 22 struck; 58 mortar shells, of which 33 struck. Private Compton, F Company, First South Carolina Infantry, wounded.

Sixteen Parrott shells fired at the fort to-day, of which 11 misses; 56 mortar shells, of which 11 missed. Two hundred-pounder Parrott on the right of Wagner cannot be seen; suppose it has been brought to Gregg.
