Drum, assistant adjutant-general, is relieved from the operation of paragrahp 6, Special Orders, Numbers 181, from this office, dated July 8, 1861, which directed him to report in person at this office, and will remain at the headquarters of the Deapartment of the Pacific. Lieutenant Colonel D. C. Buell is relieved from duty in the Department of the Pacific and will report immediately in person to the Adjutant-General.
