SPECIAL ORDERS,
HEADQUARTERS DISTRICT OF OREGON, Numbers 185.
Fort Vancouver, Wash. Ter., December 29, 1864.

I. On the arrival of Crandall's company of First Oregon Infantry at Fort Steilacoom, Captain E. H. Tucker with his company (K), First Washington Territory Infantry, will proceed to the mouth of the Snohomish River, on the Tulalip Indian Reservation, where it will remain until further orders. The quartersmaster's department will furnish the necessary transportation.

IV. Captain Turcker will consult with the superintendent of Indian affairs as to the location of his camp. He has been requested to write the commanding officer at Fort Steilacoom his views on that subject.
