GENERAL: I had a conversation yesterday with Lieutenant McCall in relation to troubles in Oregon. I do not think there is any occasion for immediate alarm, as I am satisfied no outbreak is contemplated unless a drafte is ordered, and I think a draft can be enforced without bloodshed. The discovery of the plot to fit out a pirate vessel in San Francisco and the arrest of the leaders will have a tendency to check the operations of traitors on this coast.

Fort Vancouver, Wash. Ter., January 18, 1865.Special Orders, Numbers 185, of the 29th of December, 1864, from these headquarters are hereby rescinded. The command will not be sent to the mount of the Snohomish River until a request for the same shall be received by the commanding officer at Fort Steilacoom from the superintendent of Indian affairs for Washington Territory.

Fort Vancouver, Wash. Ter., January 19, 1865.I. When mustered into the service of the United States, Rigdon's company, of First Oregon Infantry, will repair to Camp Russell, near Salem, and thence, after it is supplied with clothing and arms, it will proceed to Fort Yamhill. Captain D. W. Porter, assistant quartermaster, will furnish the necessary transportation for it from Eugene City to Camp Russel and thence to Fort Yamhill.
