Volunteers, will proceed to Memphis, Tenn., on public business for this department, and having conferred with the commanding officer of the Department of Mississippi will return to these headquarters with as little delay as practicable.
2. The detachment of Fifteenth Illinois Cavalry on duty at these headquarters is hereby relieved and will be reported immediately to the chief of cavalry at this post.
