My staff officers-Captain William T. Kittredge, assistant adjutant-general; Surg. H. H. Maynard, acting medical director; Major A. B. Freeburn, Second Arkansas Cavalry; Captain John G. Quinn, Sixth Cavalry Missouri State Militia; Captain Charles W. Rubey, Sixth Provisional Enrolled Missouri Militia; Lieutenant S. Lee Davis, Seventh Minnesota Infantry, and Lieutenant D. E. Murphy, Eighth Cavalry Missouri State Militia, my personal aides, and Lieutenant George Graves, Sixth Provisional Regiment Enrolled Missouri Militia, acting commissary of subsistence, and Lieutenant Samuel Turner, Sixth Provisional Regiment Enrolled Missouri Militia, acting quartermaster-conducted themselves throughout the entire campaign in the most prompt, energetic, and gallant manner.

During the campaign my brigade captured 1 piece of artillery, 250 stand of small-arms, and 800 prisoners, including those captured in the district. The casualties in my brigade during the entire campaign were 1 officer killed and 5 officers wounded, and 9 enlisted men killed and 76 enlisted men wounded, and 1 man missing, as will appear more fully from the accompanying lists. Reports from subordinate commanders are transmitted herewith.
