Send the Third Michigan Cavalry, except that portion on duty at Remount Camp, to take station at Brownsville. Let one battalion move to-morrow, and Colonel Moyers proceed by rail, and if Colonel Wood is gone he will assume command at Brownsville. The One hundred and twenty-sixth Illinois Infantry has been ordered to Pine Bluff.

Send the One hundred and twenty-sixth Illinois Infantry by railroad to this place, with a view of their going to Pine Bluff by steam-boat, taking their baggage and camp equipage. Report the strength of the regiment, and whether there are railroad facilities to send them to-morrow. They had better take three days' rations.
