Guppey, commanding the Third Brigade of your division, to hold the detachment of his command now here, the One hundred and sixty-first New York and Twenty-third Wisconsin Volunteers, in readiness to embark at a moment's notice for New Orleans. You will order them to take two days' rations. Transportation will be provided this afternoon.
