I an informed that there are four or five such companies in the Department of the Missouri that might be the rebel army they cannot be raised in this department, nor can colored troops be enlisted to any extent until our lines are advanced.

Little Rock:

A citizen scout has returned from Reeves' Crossing, on Arkansas River, fifteen miles above Arkansas Post. The enemy was on the opposite side. Among the commanders are General Parsons, of Missouri, and Colonel Parsons, of Texas. On Wednesday night about 800 mounted men crossed in boats to this side and went up the river. Some force was reported to have come over and gone up a day or two before. Rebel foraging parties for cattle came up nearly to De Witt.
