Little Rock:

The Twenty-first Iowa Infantry, of General Dennis' division, Lieutenant Colonel Van Anda commanding, has just come up from Saint Charles; more troops behind. Colonel Greene, assistant quartermaster from General Canby, arrived this afternoon and reports it highly probable that Memphis has before this time been attacked. Some of General Dennis' troops we sent up from the mouth of White River.
