The Seventh and Twenty-second Kentucky, and the Forty-second and one hundred and twentieth Regiments Ohio Volunteers, all report temporarily to the commander of the District of Baton Rouge. They stand in the same relation to your command as does the division under Brigadier-General McGinnis, temporarily under the orders of the commander of the Defenses of New Orleans.
