James River, Va., June 26, 1864.In accordance with orders from headquarters Army of the Potomac, the regiments and battalions of this command, after having crossed the James River, will proceed to the Army of the Potomac, near Petersburg, Va., and report as follows: Battalion First Rhode Island Cavalry, to the major-general commanding Cavalry Corps; Third New Jersey Battery, to the major-general commanding Second Corps; Sixty-seventh Pennsylvania Volunteers, to the major-general commanding Sixth Corps; Thirteenth Ohio and Twenty-fifth New York (dismounted) Cavalry, and Twenty-eighth U. S. Colored Troops, to Major-General Burnside, commanding Ninth Corps.
