seen nothing but working parties. It seems to me singular if they designed to attack any one the they should have started out at that hour, as they could not get far before dark, and might as well have waited for that to cover their movements. It looks like a feint, if anything, to me.

I. Brigadier-General Bragg's brigade, Fourth Division, is temporarily assigned to the Third Division, Brigadier-General Crawford commanding. General Bragg will break up his present camp early to-morrow morning and remove to the camp of the Third Division.

II. Colonel Hofmann's brigade, Fourth Division, is assigned temporarily to the Second Division, Brigadier-General Ayres commanding.

III. The headquarters staff and provost guard of the Fourth Division will report to corps headquarters.
