Numbers 239. September 25, 1864.I. Brigadier-General Baxter will send a regiment about 200 strong to garrison Fort davison, at the Gurley house.
II. Brigadier-General Ayres will extend his division along the breast works to the right as far as he can, relieving the troops of the Ninth Corps.
III. Colonel Wainwright, chief of artillery, will put a battery in Battery Numbers 26, between Fort Wadsworth and Fort Howard.
