GENERAL: It having been brought to the notice of the major-general commanding that many regiments have not received the re-enforcements which have ben forwarded from the draft rendezvous, and which have had ample time to reach them, he directs that you cause the commanders of those regiments to make immediate reports, showing the number which have been forwarded, the date of the departure, other facts which may be of value in this connection.

Commanding Third Brigade:

COLONEL: In pursuance of instructions from headquarters Tenth Army Corps, the general commanding directs me to instruct you that in case of any alarm on our right the Twenty-fourth massachusetts Volunteers shall go to and garrison the redoubt beyond the church, repairing thence at once without waiting for orders other than per brigade headquarters, in case of a movement in that direction.
