3. Colonel Thomas O. Osborn, Thirty-ninth Illinois Volunteers, having reported for duty, is assigned to the command of the First Brigade of this division, relieving A. C. Voris, Sixty-seventh Ohio Volunteers. The brigadier-general commanding desires on this occasion to express his high appreciation of the zeal and ability with which Colonel Voris has discharged his duties as brigade commander.
