Commanding Army of the Potomac:The several stations report no changes, excepting that the force between the Jerusalem plank road and the lead-works appears to be stronger than it was prior to the last move. Small working parties engaged to the right and left of Pegram's battery - the Creater fort.

2. The arrangements for the presentation of medals by the major-general commanding the Army of the Potomac, announced in paragraph 4, Special Orders, No. 309, current series, from these headquarters, will be carried into effect at 4 p.m. this day. Division commanders will see that the troops designated in the order above referred to are on the ground in the vicinity of these headquarters at 3.30 p.m. Such regiments are on detached duty or on picket need not be relieved but such men as are to receive medals, who may be on picket or other duty, will be at once relieved therefrom, in order that the may be present. Division commanders will notify the commanding general without delay what regiments will be absent from the presentation, under the preceding paragraph, and staff officer from each division will report to these headquarters for information as to the ground upon which the respective troops are to be formed.
