immediately attend to the condition and cleanliness of their troops, their arms, ammunition, and accouterments, putting all things in good order to-day, and will hold thorough inspections to-morrow at 10 a. m. Immediately after landing a careful field return will be made of each regiment, stating number of desertions, if any. Brigade commander and the chief of artillery are reminded that the tri-monthly reports of the 9th instant should be forwarded as soon as possible.

Rollins; Sixth Connecticut Volunteers, Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Klein; Tenth Connecticut Volunteers, Captain Hickerson; Third New Hampshire Volunteers, Lieutenant Colonel J. F. Randlett; Seventh Connecticut Volunteers, Captain S. S. Atwell; Eleventh Maine Volunteers, Lieutenant Maxfield.
Second Brigade, Colonel A. P. Rockwell, Sixth Connecticut Volunteers, commanding: Ninth Vermont Volunteers, Lieutenant-Colonel Barney; Eighty-first New York Volunteers, Lieutenant-Colonel Raulston; Ninety-eighth New York Volunteers, Major Rogers; One hundred and forty-eighth New York Volunteers, Captain H. R. Gardner; One hundred and twelth New York Volunteers, Lieutenant-Colonel Smith; Thirteenth Indiana Volunteers, ---.
2. Captain L. L. Langdon will take command of the artillery.
