Dennis, commanding District of Northeastern Louisiana.

Triune, Tenn., June 13, 1863.In compliance with Special Field Orders, Numbers 156, headquarters Department of the Cumberland, Murfreesborough, Tenn., June 8, 1863,* the undersigned hereby assumes command of the Reserve Corps, composed of the division of Brigadier Gens. A. Baird, James D. Morgan, and Robert S. Granger, the First Tennessee Battery, and Battery C, Second Illinois Artillery. Commanding officers of divisions and detachments will immediately forward to these headquarters a return of the strength of their commands.
