Would it not be well to call Breckinridge and Imboden to you! General Beauregard reached Drewry['s Bluff last night with a few men. I will agin try to get up the two brigades of infanrtry and one of cavalry from Petersburg, but fear it may not now be practicabvle. Afairs here are critical. Fighting near Drewry's Bluff this morning.

GENERAL: The enemy have disappeared fromopposite our extreme left. Their pickets and sharpshooters have just retired, and there are no troops int the breast works. I have not yet ascertained the full extent of the movement, but am inclined to believe that it includes the entiere right of the enemy's line

GENERAL: General Anderson reports the enemy ahs left his extreme left, withdrawn his sharpshooters, and sidappeared fromhis brest- works He does not know wherher this is the case along their eniter right, but is inclined to think so. Can you find out anything onyour front! Should you find that the enemy is changing his line be prepared to draw out to follow him.

GENERAL: The enemy is in my front; in what force I don't know, but I can see him. I have advised GeenrL Humphreys that if he will swing round I will advance my left with hm. I find upn sending to GenrL Humphreys that the enemy, though abandoning his line of works, has formed at a point in front of Hmphreys in line of battle at right angles and inside of his own works. I am ready.
