Can see nothing but smokes from this mountain at present. Come near being driven off last night by fire which is reging in the woods around our station. Good rain is required to clear up.

Enemy strengthening works opposite Norton's Ford; six guns in position. Men in intrenchments and redoubts opposite Raccoon Ford. Camp seen between latter ford and Stringfellow's Ford have dispeared; think moved behind woods. Camp smoke between Rapidan Station and Orange Court-House, opposite Raccon ans Springfellow's and Morton's Ford, and about Clark's Mountain, as before reported.

Three rebel signal flags on Clark's Mountain; two working toward Rpaidan Station and the other down the river.
