COLONEL: General Stoneman reports that the enemy is crossing the river at the mouth of Sweet Water. They will doubtless attempt to destroy our trains and depot at Marietta, and may attempt to capture our bridges at the different river crossings. Keep all the trains on this side the river and under your guns. Look out for the rebels and give them a warm reception. Keep me informed of all that you learn. The supply train is ordered forward to-night.
