I have been out all day. Will move my camp to-morrow somewhere below General Hascall on Utoy Creek. The telegraph wire will be taken down at 9 a. m. to-morrow, so make all your dispatches before. Nothing from General Steedman, who is after Wheeler above the Hiwassee.

You will concentrate all your command of Turner's Ferry to guard train of the Army of the Ohio. Consult with commanding-general of the Twentieth Army Corps, who will probably be left in command of troops on the Chattahoochee, as to the movements and disposition of train.
