SPECIAL FIELD ORDERS,
HDQRS. 15TH ARMY CORPS, No. 96. Morrow's Mill, Ga., September 7, 1864.

In accordance with Special Field Orders, No. 120, from department headquarters, herewith inclosed, this command will move forward at 8 a.m. to-morrow, with Brigadier General W. B. Hazen's division in advance, to the vicinity of East Point. The division of Brigadier General William Harrow and Major General P. J. Osterhaus will follow, respectively, that of Brigadier-General Hazen. The movement will be conducted in the same manner as to-day. The wagons will move in the same relative order described in Special Field Orders, No. 95, of date September 6, from these headquarters. The positions to be taken by the several divisions will be designated upon their arrival at East Point. The division of Major-General Osterhaus, being the rear guard, will cause all stragglers, of whatever command, to be brought forward.

HEADQUARTERS LEFT WING, FIELD ORDERS,
SIXTEENTH ARMY CORPS, No. 78. In the Field, near East Point, September 7, 1864.

I. On the march to-morrow the Ninth Illinois Infantry Volunteers (mounted) will take the advance, moving on the main East Point road at 7 a.m. The Second Division will take the advance of the infantry column, moving at the same hour. Two brigades of the Fourth Division will immediately follow the Second Division. After these two brigades the trains will move in their regular order. Brigadier General J. W. Fuller, commanding Fourth Division, will designate one brigade of his command to bring up the rear.

I. Brigadier General Giles A. Smith, commanding Fourth Division, will have the advance to-morrow, and will move his command at 8.30 a.m., following the Left Wing, Sixteenth Army Corps.

II. The Third Division, Brigadier General Charles R. Woods, will follow the Fourth Division.
