General Hood directs me to say that Stewart's troops are supporting you. The skirmishers are from Lee and Stewart. Colonel Beckham commands the artillery, assisted by the several field officers on the line-Myrick, Hoxton, Storrs, and Cobb. Lee had a pretty sharp engagement on the left to save the Lick Skillet road.
